What’s New: Boogie Bash Info + looking for Volunteers

What is Boogie Bash™? 

Boogie Bash™ is a weekend of organized events for motorcycle enthusiasts with riders from all over British Columbia, Canada, and the United States in attendance.  This adult only event has become a Boogie Bash™ Family of over 1,500 supporters annually.  Events throughout the weekend include Bike Games, Show ’n Shine, Burn out Pit, Poker Run, Tattoo Contest, Merchandise Booth, Live Bands, Beverage Gardens, Food and Product Vendors.  Whether a rider, motorcycle enthusiast or dreaming of owning a motorcycle in the future,  individuals come out to enjoy a weekend of fun and music and support the Society of Injured Riders (SIR)™. 

Who are we, your hosts!  

The Society for Injured Riders (SIR)™ is a not-for-profit society that provides assistance to motorcycle riders injured as a result of motorcycle accidents and their family members who are dealing with those injuries and the impact they have on the rider and on the family.  We provide assistance which includes moral support, financial support in the way of gift cards, funds to assist in paying for long stay hospital televisions, paying bills for the family or funds for other expenses, as well as providing referrals for medical equipment or for assistance in navigating insurance difficulties, to name a few.     

When and where does the event take place?  

Society for Injured Riders (SIR)™ 2022 takes place July 29, 2022 – August 1, 2022, at the Rock Creek Fairgrounds 3380 Kettle Valley Road South, Rock Creek British Columbia, Canada.

Volunteer Information:

Boogie Bash™ and are looking to find more volunteers to cover our Safety Shifts 9pm – 1am in the liquor area.

The duties would include: To safeguard anyone entering or engaging in the liquor area does not have and/or bring any personal containers, and any commercial store bought container is unopened prior to entering.   To assist in the observation of over intoxication and disorderly conduct or unlawful activities from taking place in the liquor area.

Would you or someone you know be interested in volunteering (and/or if it is a user group we could make a donation based on the number of volunteers) during our event.

We do have other times that we could use assistance but our preference would be the 9pm – 1am shift. For more information on volunteering, please call  Tracy at 250-263-2544.
