WI District Fall Workshop

On Wednesday, October 9th the Women’s Institute will be holding the WI District Fall Workshop. Registration starts at 9:30 am, cost is $15 per person. Topics include: Adrianne Haynes with her AI and digital art, Jane Henry with her crazy quilts and Norma Wheeler explaining the process of seed collecting. There will be a silent auction, plant and book sale, and lunch is provided. There will be door prizes also, so put your name in at the door!
We also are asking members to bring their wedding dress on a metal hanger (if they still have it). They need to be labelled with the member’s name, date of wedding and notes about the dress. They will be displayed during the Fall Workshop.
You don’t need to be a member of the Women’s Institute to come and enjoy the day. If you are new to the area, plan on coming and meeting other community members.
