Testimonials from several happy customers:
- ‘This past year I took advantage of the BC HomeSmart program with the help of Raven at the RDKB. Raven was a great resource and had so much information. I was a bit intimidated but Raven made a follow up phone call and that encouraged me to give it a try. The application process turned out to be
quite a simple and easy process, and I was approved. I’ve had a heat pump installed. Looking forward to actual cooling this summer. First time ever!
I went with Action Plumbing out of Osoyoos who were so great to work with. I
didn’t have to submit anything. I paid them the difference and they dealt
with the government to get the $5000.00 grant. Now I’m waiting for new living room windows to be installed. Well worth the time and effort to make my home more comfortable and economic.’ - ‘We are fortunate to have joined the program. We did it for climate reasons, we wanted to reduce our energy use. With very little effort on our part, we qualified for an energy saving refrigerator and learned about other rebates. The rebates allowed us to reduce the price of the window installations that we otherwise couldn’t pay full price for. We would not have had this happen without the assistance of Raven.’
- ‘Last year I was able to access the RDKB HomeSmart program with Raven’s (HomeSmart Program Coordinator) help. An assessment was completed in my home, with recommendations from the technician on how I could reduce energy usage with various appliances, recommendation on installing a heat pump, assessing insulation, windows, weatherstripping, lightbulbs and so much more. Raven also assisted me in the FortisBC application process for heat pump rebates and explained so much. What a great program!’
